West Cambridge, Near Fresh Pond, Quiet Neighborhood, Fully Furnished, No Broker Fee
The "triple decker" of which this condo comprises the second floor was built in 1914 and has been completely renovated. It is one of the three-story wooden multi-family dwellings one can see all around Cambridge. Our condo can be used as one bedroom... and a study, or two separate bedrooms. We live abroad during the academic year, and this is our home in summers and midwinter breaks. Therefore, the condo is fully furnished with the essential amenities for life (including pots, pans, linens, kitchen utensils, and appliances—even an upright piano!). We aim for green living, so many details show our commitment to a non-toxic environment. The neighborhood is older and settled, with lots of trees and quiet, a mix of single-family houses and condos. It is minutes away from amenities, on two bus lines, and ten minutes by bus from the Harvard T stop. A short walk north is Fresh Pond; just south is the famous Mount Auburn Cemetery and gardens; step east for Harvard Square and west to diverse Watertown. The lease typically runs from the fall to the spring, though we are willing to work with you on dates. Note that while there is on-street parking, we have never had a problem finding a parking spot very close by--usually right in front of the building.
