Unfurnished pet + family friendly house near parks, subway, and bike paths

My wife and I live across the street from this single-family home that we plan to turn into our forever home, but for now we are renting it. I just graduated from my PhD at MIT's Sloan School of Management and am staying in Cambridge as a Research... Affiliate at MIT and teaching courses in business strategy. We are looking for a tenant for the coming year and are open to a longer-term rental. We can partially furnish the house upon request (dining room table + chairs, kitchen table + chairs, large sofa-style chairs, and other common area items, but not bedroom items). We are open to pets. Could start the rental in mid-August if needed. Would prefer a 1-year lease starting September 1. Open to longer lease.

The neighborhood is really quiet and safe. This is a great place for families with lots of parks, playgrounds, bike paths, a public pool, and Cambridge's High School athletic fields all within a few blocks of the house. There is a great sense of community with many block parties and events throughout the year. 5-minute walk to the Alewife T station; walk, transit, and bike scores are fantastic. A short walk from 2/3rds of Cambridge's public park land and a bunch of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.

We have an ~2 year old daughter and spend a lot of time on ecological gardening at our condo across the street. You are welcome do do some gardening in the yard of the house - we prefer native, pollinator friendly plants and will not allow pesticides. Lots of nature immediate around the property and a short walk away, despite being in the city. We are very responsive landlords and happy to offer recommendations in the area so you get the most out of your time here.
