We are offering our 3,000 square foot hill in Beacon Hill, one block from Charles street, one Block from Charles river and esplanade, and two blocks from the public garden, for rent for one academic year (while we are on sabbatical in Paris). Walking... distance to MIT.
Beacon Hill is one of the most charming neighborhoods of Boston. We are 5 minutes from the red line, 5 minutes from the green line, 5 minutes from MGH, and walking distance from MIT (20-30 minutes depending on where you go on campus).
There are many of gourmet shops, one bookshop, and cafes and restaurants in close proximity.
Our home has 5 bedrooms (all with generous built in closets), 5 bathrooms, one sun room, one living room, two kitchens (including a very large eat-in kitchen), and one family room with a huge projection screen and wall mounted projector (which can also be used as a guest room). Our house was fully renovated recently, and has AC, a brand new electricity and heating systems, and wired internet and wifi in every room. Both kitchen are fully equipped with state of the art appliances. All bathrooms are new.
It is perfect for a family with children, or for responsible graduate students/young professional who want to share a beautiful home full of common space and nice bedrooms (up to 5 roomates/couples would be very comfortable).
