Room in East Cambridge Apartment for September 1st!

Hello! My name is Alex and I'm a recent PhD graduate and current postdoc at MIT looking for a roommate to join my lease for this upcoming year. The lease is 12 months and begins September 1st, with option for renewal. Early move in may also be... possible. The rent is $1400 plus utilities. The apartment is on the first floor of a building with three total apartments and has two bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and a nice-sized living room and kitchen. I've been living here for two years and really like the place and its location!

The apartment is in East Cambridge near the Somerville border. Inman Square, Central Square, and Kendall Square are all 15-30 minute walks from here. MIT campus is also a short 15-20 minute walk. Similarly, the Kendall/MIT Red Line stop and the Lechmere Green Line stop are both 15-20 minute walks. There's also a bus stop for the 69 bus right across the street, which goes between Harvard Square and the Lechmere T stop.

The neighborhood is pretty quiet with a lot of greenery and nearby parks. The apartment gets plenty of natural light too! There's a shopping center with a Star Market just a 10 minute walk away, plus many nearby restaurants, cafes, and bars.
