Room in Central Square

Starting February 1st, 2024 we have an available room in our 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house, situated in Cambridge near Central Square. We are looking for a long-term roommate (current lease goes until August 2024), the rent is $1240 not including... utilities (~$50/month).

We are looking for someone in the age range of 22-29, preferably female (though this isn’t required). We value people who are conscientious, interested in ideas.

We all communicate openly about what needs to get done and value ownership of improving things about the house (e.g. buying plants, fixing stuff that breaks, etc.). We have house dinners each Tuesday where we invite over friends from uni and beyond.

All of us (Simon Grimm, Lenni Justen, and Geetha Jeyapragasan are affiliated with MIT, working on biotech and infectious disease surveillance and prevention. We share an interest in effective altruism and often hang out after work or on the weekends.
