Looking for Housemate to share 2Bed/2Bath apartment for rent ($1750) in East Boston Apartment.

Hi everyone! I am looking for a housemate to join me for at least a year lease in a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment starting July 1st (flexible).

It is located in East Boston (near the airport) and a 10 min walk from the Maverick blue line stop. Rent is... $1750 a month (the total rent is $3500) + additional utilities split evenly between us. The utilities have averaged around $145 per month per person (including wifi, heat, a/c, and electricity — water is included in the rent).

The apartment is spacious and the bedroom gets a lot of natural light. The landlord is a really close friend of mine and is responsive about maintenance. There is in-unit laundry and a spacious kitchen and small balcony. I’ve really enjoyed living here for the past two years!

About me: I am a PhD student at MIT. In my free time I like to watch tv, do crafts, or play games. In terms of living styles, I love to be friends with my roommates and enjoy leisurely activities together from time to time. I am looking for a roommate who values having a tidy home (no shoes indoors 🙏) and one with vibrant and joyous energy.
