1 room and office space available in 4BR-2bath house in East Cambridge
I'm leaving my home in East Cambridge after 7 years.
My room is in a 4 bed, 2 bath house with 3 lovely housemates, dishwasher, and in unit laundry machines. Rent is $990 + extra for utilities. I think additionally, you'd have to pay the last... month's rent.
We are all MIT students/affiliates/alumni.
The house is multi-cultural and queer-friendly, we're looking for someone who wants to be a part of our community. Sometimes, we make art, cook and eat together, and are social. However, I have also escaped into my own zone many times to finish a deadline or a paper, and have had my housemates bring me food during these busy times, and take care of me when I've been sick. I am only leaving because I am moving in with my partner. If I could, I'd live in this house forever and ever. :)
My room has two portions -- a large brightly lit space and a cozier second room which currently serves as a bedroom. The room is equipped with AC/heating, closet space, and the house is a 10m walk and 6m bike ride from Kendall Square and MIT. The room is available from February 1st or Feb 15th (My move is still undecided between those two dates). The lease is a month-to-month lease, and can be renewed with the whole house in September.
